Game Story:
General Information
The genre of the game is Action, as it is a First Person Shooter with Sci-Fi elements that are included in the game. My audience will be teenagers/adults, as the game will include violence, warfare, adult references etc.
Set in the distant year of 2237, in the Kingdom of Estaybia, the game follows the struggle for dominance in a civil war between the Estaybian Monarchy, and the EX Regime. After years of violence between the factions, all out war has been reached, and they will both fight for ruling of the Kingdom of Estaybia.
The game starts off with Sergeant Avery Walker (Mentioned onwards as “The Player”) being introduced to Lieutenant Lewis Becker and Captain Osama Uvwe. The Player is run through the controls of the game, the first mission being the Tutorial Mission.
After training, The Player, Becker and Uvwe are sent on various missions involving scouting missions, supply line destruction, and assaulting outposts. They fight in these missions, taking down EX troops and advancing the war effort.
Eventually, the Player is betrayed by a close ally of them (Lieutenant Clark), and the EX start to push the Estaybian Military back. The EX push them all the way to the capital, where the Monarchy has to make their last stand against the overwhelming force being sent their way. Their forces get crushed by the EX, and the final battle takes place at the Palace, where the EX succeed in taking down the Royal Family, and winning the war.
The Player gets knocked out after attempting to kill the Minister, and Becker and Uvwe manage to escape. The final cutscene presents the game 6 years later, in which the Rakjuvic are at war with the EX, and the remains of the Monarchy are underground in secret bunkers, observing the war.
Detailed Game Description
Intro Cut-Scene - November 16th, 2237. After years of unrest, protests and acts of violence in the Kingdom of Estaybia, between the two major political groups; The Estaybian Monarchy, and the EX Regime, tensions have reached a boiling point - both sides have declared war against one another. The game begins with King Staibin III and his declaration of war against the EX Regime.
The Tutorial - The Player is introduced to Lieutenant Becker and Captain Uvwe, the leaders of the squad that the Player will be a part of. The Player goes through training, Becker and Uvwe leading them along. The Player learns the controls of the game, and when they feel they are ready, they can leave the training area to continue with the game.
The Scouting Party - The Trio are sent on a scout mission to find key EX positions, in which they get spotted and have to fight to get to extraction. They succeed in their objectives however, and bring the intel back to command.
Supply Sabotage - Back at the base, the Trio are introduced to Lieutenant Clark, who congratulates them on a job well done. With the intel, they find a key supply line that the EX are using, and plan to destroy it and hopefully cripple it. The Trio are sent out to destroy it, and get to the designated point (a bridge). They fight the forces stationed there, and start rigging explosives to the bridge. They are then attacked by a second force of EX troops, and the Trio have to defend the demolition squad from enemy fire as they rig the explosives. They manage to do so, and after killing the EX squad, get themselves out of there and blow up the bridge, cutting the supply line.
The Assault - With EX supplies low in the region, the Trio are sent along on a mission to assault an EX base, housing munitions, vehicles etc. They assault the base, taking down key defenses using tanks, air support and soldiers. They infiltrate the base, and take down the remaining forces.
Stealth Warfare - The Trio are sent on a stealth mission into EX territory to capture an EX Operative known as Commander Borne. They sneak through the mountain base, stealthily taking down EX guards, and manage to get to the command room, where Commander Borne is. They take down the guards and tell the commander to stand down and surrender himself. He refuses, and activates the alarm. Becker knocks him out, and the Trio has to fight off the EX forces and get to the extraction point with the unconscious Commander.
The Facility - Intel from Borne reveals an EX production facility. An assault into the facility reveals that the EX has been working on a huge project to develop ultra-massive battle tanks capable of out-powering the Royal Military, called Omegastations. The Trio retrieve the information, blow up the prototype Omegastation, and head to extraction, where Lieutenant Clark is aboard the extraction vehicle.
Lieutenant Clark tells them that they did a good job, but then pulls out his gun and shoots Uvwe, who falls to the ground. The soldiers around the extraction area then put their guns up to Becker and the Player. Clark then explains that the EX are the future of the Kingdom, and that if they cooperate, they will be spared death. Clark asks for the intel to be given over, in which Becker refuses, and both him and the Player are shot, a soldier retrieving the intel off of him, and they leave the Trio for death. They are then saved by a group of soldiers that they do not know of.
Fall Back - Clark’s betrayal of the Monarchy means that information about the war plans of the Royal Military has been leaked to the EX. With that information, the EX push back and take down large amounts of the Royal Military, destroying outposts and crushing regiments in major EX victories.
The Rakjuvic Territories have sent in some forces to the region to help with pushing back the advancing EX forces, and a squad of the Rakjuvic Army are revealed to have saved the Trio.
The Trio are sent out to a major Royal Military Base to secure and hold back the advancing EX forces whilst they evacuate the surrounding area. The Trio hold back advancing troop and tank squads, before they get to be too much and they are forced to fall back into the base and hold them off for a minute longer whilst Rakjuvic air support gets into the area. Air support arrives and takes down many of the advancing forces, and the area is evacuated.
The Last Stand - The EX continue their relentless push towards the capital. The Omegastations are released, and the Royal Military muster their final forces to defend the city against the EX forces pouring in. Downtown is breached by EX forces, and the Trio are sent in to defend as best they can whilst the Royal Military try to get the Royal Family to safety. They manage to take down the forces in the area, but then an Omegastation rolls in, and nearly kills them, but they manage to get out of there in time, retreating to the palace.
Fall of the Monarchy - The palace is then assaulted by EX forces, and the Trio have to help defend the palace from the onslaught of EX forces attacking. They hold out for as long as possible, but are forced to retreat in order to save the Royal Family from EX forces. They make it into the holdout room that they have resided in, then the door is blasted down and everyone is shot at, including the Trio.
The Minister walks in, with his soldiers, holding a pistol. He gives a short speech to the Royal Family and the Royal Military soldiers (including the Trio) that they have lost, the EX shall rule over the Kingdom etc. He then proceeds to kill the Royal Family himself, and tells them to leave the bodies (including the Trio). He then bids his farewells, and mentions going to the throne room.
After they leave the room, the Trio struggle for a bit, manage to get themselves up, and grab a weapon each from their dead brethren. They agree to attempt to take out the Minister, in a last-ditch effort of determination and willpower. They make their way through the palace, shooting guards and getting closer to the throne room. Once at the throne room, they blast down the doors, and fire at the guards. The Trio kill the guards and then fire at the Minister, who gets struck by a bullet in the eye.
The Trio get close to finish the job, but more guards pour in and attack. The Player tells Becker and Uvwe to get out of there, and after a moment of hesitation, they nod and get out of there. The Player holds back the EX forces for a minute, before being finally shot. He falls to the ground, and the Minister himself knocks him out after telling the guards to “keep this one”.
Ending Cut-Scene - (6 Years later…) Secret CCTVs placed in areas shows battle between the EX and the Rakjuvic, EX tanks blowing up a squadron of Rakjuvic soldiers and a vehicle.
Gunfire continues as the scene changes to show Becker and Uvwe, along with the rest of the Estaybian Military in a secret bunker, monitoring the current warfare using those CCTVs. Becker says to Uvwe that the war looks like its getting worse. Uvwe asks if they should commence with the plan; Becker responds in the affirmative. Becker asks the whole room if they are fine with the operation to go ahead, and they confirm.
Becker contacts the King, General Halrean and General Vuljik, as well as President Jahlin, and they all agree to commence the plan. They have a brief discussion, before disconnecting, and the cutscene ending.

One of the two main objectives in the game is for the campaign. In the campaign, the main objective is to complete all missions, with side objectives of collecting hidden trinkets/collectibles that will be placed in the various missions, and also completing the game on its multiple difficulties.
The second main objective in the game is for the multiplayer gamemodes. Within these gamemodes, there will be different objectives for each of the multiplayer modes, such as getting the highest amount of kills in a free-for-all fight, or capturing the flag from the enemy team in the flag capture gamemode.
The gameplay present in the game is similar to other first-person shooters, such as Call of Duty franchise or the Halo franchise. In the game, the player will wield a weapon, such as a pistol or assault rifle, and will have to shoot their way through enemies to get to their objectives located within the gameplay area.
The gameplay interface will feature most things that are present in many other first-person shooters. There will be a HUD featuring ammo count/magazine count and grenade/equipment counts, the weapons that your character is holding/carrying, and a shield bar indicating the shield level of the player. As the game is a 1st person shooter, the planned perspective of the game is in 1st person.
The basic structure of the game starts with the title screen. From here, you can then select the different game modes (Campaign and Multiplayer). In all the major screens, there will be an account manager, options tab etc.
In the campaign mode, there will be multiple different things to select, such as mission select, resuming missions etc. The levels can be played sequentially, or the player can select which mission they would like to do (if they have completed the game previously).
Multiplayer mode will have a mode/game selection area, such as Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all etc. These can be played on a variety of maps, and you will be put with other online players.
The campaign mode of the game will have the option to select the difficulty, so that every player can have a chance to beat the game, or challenge themselves. After completing the campaign on a lower difficulty, players may choose to replay it on a higher difficulty setting.
In multiplayer, there isn’t a difficulty changer, as you will be playing against other online players, and so everyone will have a variety of skill levels. In multiplayer, practice across the multiplayer modes will make players better over time.
The average player may take 6-12+ hours to complete the campaign mode of the game, which is the main gamemode of the game. After this, they may choose to play multiplayer. Multiplayer cannot be ‘completed’ in a sense, as it is a gamemode where you are put against real-life players, and so the objective is to just win games. It is up to the player to decide on whether or not they have ‘completed’ the multiplayer to their satisfaction.

The game is set in the fictional country of Estaybia. The land is similar to real-life Iran and the USA, although less mountainous. It is longer horizontally, and has a mountain range in the west, roughly similar to real-life USA. It also has a smaller mountain range along the northern border, whilst an ocean is located to the south of the country, giving it a coastline mostly south on the country. The environment will contain a variety of large cities, small villages, vast mountain ranges and rolling fields.
The game is based in the future (2237), so most vehicles will be futurized/sci-fi to fit with the theme. There will be cars in the game, mostly as detail for roads etc. There will also be a wide range of military vehicles used, such as armored SUVs, A multitude of tanks (light tanks, tank destroyers, heavy tanks etc.)
VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Ships will replace helicopters, as they are futuristic, and there will be different types, such as transport, combat, gunships etc. Jets/Fighters will still be around, but will be futuristic as well. They will also be capable of VTOL movement.
The game will be both single-player and multiplayer, as the game itself will have different gamemodes to choose from. The campaign will be playable in both of these ways, with multiplayer being played through split-screen, LAN connection, or through an internet connection.
In the game, there are a few different types of actions that can be caused by a player. Cutscenes are caused when the player starts/completes a level, as well as being a part of the level itself (e.g. you get to your first objective, and a cutscene starts, before putting you back into the game.)
Gameplay mechanics, such as picking up weapons, shooting, moving around etc. will be caused by the player pressing keys on a keyboard and moving a mouse, or using a controller on the console, pressing buttons and triggers. Other game actions, such as gamemode selection, navigating through menus etc. will also be caused by the player performing the actions listed above.

The 3d models in the game will follow a mid-poly design, focusing on more hexagonal, less life-like models. Characters will look more ‘blocky’ than realistic, as will the guns. Vehicles, such as tanks, VTOLs and jets will follow this design structure of mid-poly modeling. Textures on these models, however, will be mid-to-high quality, giving detail to the blank 3d models.
There will also be sound effects within the game to fit with it, such as gun sounds (shooting, reloading etc.), explosion sound effects, vehicle sounds, character voice lines/voice acting, and environmentally sound effects. In the game, there will also be music for the title screen, in-game music, and music in cutscenes/other points in-game.
